  4. Lead each student to develop clear and effective written and oral communication skills using standard English.

  5. Help student to acquire a strong foundation in mathematical reasoning and skills.

  6. Instill in students an informed appreciation of the arts and participate in their creation.

  7. Develop in students a desire to learn the essentials necessary for a healthy, safe, and physically fit life.

  8. Inspire students to recognize the importance of hard work, personal responsibility, and respect for others.

  9. Train students from all demographic groups to perform at comparably high achievement levels.
